Heiwa Martial Arts, founded in 1987 by Sensei Alan Burke, is a martial arts school dedicated to discipline, respect, and personal growth. Sensei Burke, with over 40 years of experience and multiple black belts, is known for his holistic teaching approach that emphasizes not only technical skills but also values like respect, integrity, and perseverance. His passion for martial arts and commitment to his students' success have made Heiwa a welcoming and supportive environment for all ages and skill levels.

Hi, Iām Sensei Sophie Roberts. My passion for martial arts has been a lifelong journey, enriched by the community and traditions of Heiwa Martial Arts. I've trained here for many years, under skilled instructors and alongside inspiring students. Martial arts have given me strength, discipline, and joy.
Teaching is a great joy for me. I strive to create a supportive environment where all students can thrive, no matter their skill level. I am dedicated to helping everyone reach their personal best and discover the benefits of martial arts.
